Prayer
My Lord! Forgive my guilty soul,
forgive for done not knowing,
not understanding what has happened,
not thinking of the cost,
yield to temptation.
For vanity, for roughness,
for fornication, for my ideas nasty
about my enemies, for my ignorance too.
I hourly repent
for smallest of my sins,
and hourly I pray to You for pardon,
and think about Your light and goodness,
about Your mercy to youth so weak.
My God, I beg you give me force
to live this day in holy deeds,
To skip the baits of devil,
and give me hope for light
and bring me to the sense,
if only I shall think, my God,
of breaking Your behests.
I do believe, my God,
in Your eternal life,
in Your omnipotence and that,
You’ll lead me, God,
to pathway of the true,
and save and bless me for all times.
My God please sanctify all those,
who are surrounding me,
to whom I’m dear and whom I love,
relieve them from people’s meanness,
help those whom I love to understand me,
and to love me,
help me to adore my neighbor
as I worship my mother and my father,
who have conceived and brought me up.
Be a support to me, my God,
In each my move,
In each my undertaking,
which leads to the redemption
and rescue of all human,
release me, God,
from worldling,
direct my eyes
on prettiness and concord of the nature,
You have created,
and calm my heart with Your beatification.
Please hear my God,
my prayer, let it revert from You
with grace and inspiration.
I’m with You, Lord, up to the end,
do not forget me, an atom of terrestrial,
light me with Your star,
warm up and save me!
Amen.
